Slangback is built to work locally on your iPhone. Its slang catalog is bundled with the app, and searches stay on your device.
What the app collects
Slangback does not require an account. It has no analytics, advertising, trackers, or third-party crash reporting. We do not receive your searches, app activity, location, or advertising identifier.
Research links
Some entries link to outside research sources. If you open one, it opens in your browser and that website’s privacy policy applies. Slangback does not receive information about your visit.
Corrections and support
Suggest a correction opens a prefilled draft in your email app. Nothing is sent automatically. If you send the message, we receive your email address and anything you include so we can review the correction or answer your question.
Sharing
The Share button creates a temporary image on your device and opens the iOS share sheet. The service you choose handles what you share. Slangback does not receive a copy.
This website
This site has no analytics, ads, forms, or cookies set by Slangback. The canonical site is hosted by Vercel, and a legacy copy remains available through GitHub Pages. Those hosting providers may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses under their own privacy policies.
Changes
If Slangback’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated before the change is released.
